About
My name is Hannah and I am a football player and performance psychology student based in Wellington, New Zealand. I’ve competed at the Division 1 university level in the U.S., completing my BSc in Psychology at Syracuse University in New York. Sport has been a huge part of my identity my entire life - not just in performance, but in how I understand resilience, pressure, and mental wellbeing.
More Than Mentality is a project I’ve created while working towards my master’s to explore what it really means to “be mentally strong” - beyond the clichés of grinding harder and pushing through. I'm interested in the deeper conversations around how sport affects our minds and lives, the support systems we have (or don’t), and how athletes - elite or everyday - can look after themselves while still striving for excellence.
